I tried lots of delicious Mediterranean food today, I just finished watching my third movie in 24 hours, I have four beautiful people asleep upstairs (as long as Hazel and Miggs are sleeping), I enjoyed staying in bed most of the day/night accomplishing hard to get done things, I have been wearing my new SmartWool hat and socks 99% of the time I have been down here, I am excited for a new week.
I am nervous as well. This week seems to be the start to a grown up week. I love remembering this feeling that comes from a heart felt day. Snuggled in the warmth of a great house, with great people, a strong community, and the comfort of good friends.
I feel older too... Bring on February!
That's all I got bloggers...blessings to you all.
a FWD worth sharing.
Got this in my e-mail from my cousin.
Dancing With God
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
"God, "u" and "i" dance."
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance Through 2010!

MISS INVISIBLE
There's a girl
Who sits under the bleachers
Just another day eating alone
And though she smiles
There is something just hiding
And she cant find a way to relate
She just goes unnoticed
As the crowd passes by
And she'll pretend to be busy
When inside she just wants to cry
She'll say...
CHORUS
Take a little look at the life of Miss Always Invisible
Look a little closer, I really really want you to put yourself in her shoes
Take another look at the face of Miss Always Invisible
Look a little harder and maybe then you will see why she waits for the day
When you'll ask her her name
Marie Digby
This song just popped up on my Pandora station. The words speak truth and bring so much urgency on my heart. We need Jesus. We need to speak about Jesus. We need to go under the bleachers to share Jesus. Funny thing is that I know that the girl under the bleachers will teach me more about Jesus then I could even share with her.
For the part of your heart that feels like the girl under the bleachers - you are loved, you are cherished, and you are promised great eternal life under the wings of Jesus Christ.
For the part of your heart that feels overwhelmed with compassion for the Zacheus in the tree or under the bleachers - they need you. Fight for them, love them, show them what it feels like to be under the shelter of the cross.
She Does NOT go unnoticed.

hibernating
It will make a weak man mighty.
It will make a mighty man fall.
It will fill your heart and hands.
Or leave you with nothing at all.
It’s the eyes for the blind.
And legs for the lame.
It is love for hate.
And pride for shame.
THAT IS THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL.

in the air...or upstairs?
Fall on my knees, accept the love I feel unworthy of, and
keep running with perseverance.
Beautiful angels live here.
They see my wings, they see my beauty - and they remind, they encourage, they take me in with open arms.
Angels give great hugs. Who knew?
